The Ultimaker quality maintained
Ultimaker has maintained the high print quality they have set as a standard on the market with the Ultimaker S3. This powerful 3D printer now has front enclosure, ensuring an improved printing environment for even better print results. Layer resolutions going up to 20 micron and a build volume (xyz) of 230 x 190 x 200mm are also set on the Ultimaker S3.
Performing with ease
The Ultimaker S3 3D printer performs qualitatively with the well-known ease-of-use of Ultimaker. An active bed leveling system guarantees the calibration of your heated glass build plate, while the filament flow sensors prevent printing errors due to a flaw in the filament flow. The intuitive touchscreen lets you set up your 3D printer. Last, the dual-extrusion print head with swappable print cores and automatic nozzle lifting system improve the performance of this 3D printer.
The Ultimaker S3, as all its predecessors, has the open filament system, allowing it not only to print the optimized Ultimaker materials with NFC-chip, but also third-party filaments. The NFC chip, together with the print core, recognize the material and ensure safe printing. Third-party materials on the other hand are being integrated in the all new Marketplace in CURA, Ultimakers state-of-the-art slicing software. The Marketplace profiles have all the right settings to start printing. When using the Ultimaker CC Red Print Core, the Ultimaker S3 and S5 are ready to print composite materials.
