With the TrueBerlin PETG material, BigRep has created a material that combines strength, toughness and thermal resistance. The low warping allows this material to be a good alternative for ABS. This PETG extrudes odorless, has a good flow and has a print temperature between 215°C and 250°C. All of this gives the PETG a glossy shine after printing.

The amorphous phases of PETG
PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate) is a thermoplastic material of the polyester family. PETG has a high tensile strength, impact strength and has great temperature resistance. It is also very resistant to moisture and water absorption. That is why PETG is used often for soft-drink bottles, but PETG offers a bigger range of possible applications.

BigRep 3D Printer filament
The BigRep filaments were created under carefully-controlled conditions to guarantee uniform diameters, roundness, composition and color. The aim of creating these materials is to optimize the combination between the high qualitative 3D-printers and its materials.
