The 3DGence Laboratory Dryer Oven is a specially designed oven to anneal your PEEK prints and to dry your filaments before printing. With a capacity of 56 liter and an operating temperature of 300°C, it is the perfect solution for engineers that work with PEEK filament.
From amorphous to semi-crystalline
Due to the fast cooling-down during printing, parts printed in PEEK filament are amorphous and more brittle. The Laboratory Oven combines programmable heat curves and forced air circulation that the brittle parts are semi-crystallined, and thus get the mechanical properties of PEEK again.
By annealing your prints in a metal container the stiffness grows. The shrinkage of the print is minimized by using Quartz sand. This sand can be re-used after cooling it down.
This Laboratory oven may be used as well to dry your filaments before printing. That way you can optimize your results even more. The combination of the 3DGence Industry F340 with specific modules and the Laboratory Oven result in an optimized workflow.
