The Felix Pro 2 Touch is a smart 3D-printer with Wi-Fi connectivity, exchangeable metal hot-ends, optic sensors and an easy to use ecosystem. The Pro 2 Touch has an accessible full color touch screen with wireless connectivity. All of this can be accessed by the online platform Formide.
Your Formide account is automatically synchronized with your Felix Pro 2 Touch. This way, you can always access your files via your smartphone, tablet or PC.
Just as the Felix Pro 1, the Felix Pro 2 Touch is a combination of an intuitive workflow with professional quality. Don't change good features, because the intelligent nozzle positioning system and the dual extrusion possibility are still here.
All of this makes sure you get high qualitative prints in all types of materials. Felix has not changed a thing on this either. The Felix Pro 2 Touch remains to be the best option to test all different materialtypes. The dual head version of the Felix Pro 2 Touch offers you the possibility to print multiple colours. You can also combine basic materials with water soluble materials.
But what has changed between the Felix Pro 1 and Felix Pro 2 Touch? First, the automatic calibration was made more efficient. This way, the Felix Pro 2 Touch needs less time to calibrate. Improved wiring and optimised firmware result in a faster heating process of both hot ends and the buildplate. The calibration itself also got a new design. The Pro 2 Touch has a magnetic system that requires less maintenance and always results in a perfectly calibrated 3D-printer.
Felix also took another look to the different items inside the printer. The design of the Pro 2 Touch is the same as all Felix products: less is more. Every component needs to be useful. Simplifying the hot-ends limits potential errors and improves the ease of use.
The last big change was the upgrade of the sensors in the Pro 2 Touch to optic sensors. These more sensitive sensors offer a faster and more improved accuracy. Thanks to all of this, the Felix Pro 2 Touch became even more plug-and-play.
