The BCN3D SigmaX is a professional FFF 3D printer, which combines a large build volume with the unique Independent Dual Extrusion (IDEX) system. This all make the SigmaX a well-suited alternative for big, complex prints.
Just like its little brother, the Sigma R17, this SigmaX is a workhorse that combines reliability with quality. The SigmaX also has the special IDEX-system that is typically BCN3D, which gives the printer another vibe than most competitors.
Dual Head precision
Thanks to this IDEX-system, you can combine multiple colors and multiple materials. Often recurring problems for dual head 3D printers, like a second print head that damages the print, are being avoided.
Mirroring and duplicating
Because of the unique IDEX-system, the SigmaX also offers the possibility to print on both print head separately, but at the same time. That way you can mirror your print or duplicate it at the same time. This improves the capacity and lowers the print time.
A variation on hotends
Just as with the Sigma R17, the SigmaX has the possibility to use multiple hotends in different diameters. That way, you can use the right hotend for each print. The advantage of this is the possibility to print in high detail or at high speed, depending on the hotend.
Extended build volume
At last, the SigmaX has gotten a bigger build volume than most desktop 3D printers. With a build volume of 420 x 297 x 210mm, this SigmaX is one of the biggest printers in our range. The magnet system allows you to remove the glass plate easily to remove the print, and clean the plate.
