AquaSys 120 is a specially developed material with the aim to decrease the limitations that most support materials have in the field of printing speed. This water-soluble material meets the rigorous demands of advanced additive manufacturing applications. Simply put, AquaSys 120 is a material that is soluble in water and which has not met his equal yet in the market of 3D printing. It was developed for users who have the need to print more complex items in less time, in combination with industrial-grade materials. AquaSys 120 dissolves faster than any other support material, while it gives complex 3D designs the high-quality support they need.
AquaSys 120 dissolves rapidly in standard tap water at temperatures of 70°C – 80°C. It does not require additional chemicals or a custom dissolution bath. The printing of the material itself is done at extruder temperatures between 220°C and 245°C. This makes AquaSys 120 a perfect support material for industrial-grade materials. The built plate temperature is best set up to 130°C, while the chamber temperature is recommended at 80°C – 120°C for optimized results.
If the spool is properly stored, Aquasys 120 does not pick up significant moisture. No unique handling or drying is required if the spool is properly stored and kept dry. If the translucent golden color turns cloudy, it is best to dry the material at 70°C for 3-4 hours.
